🐾 A Day in the Life at MutTrails Daycare

Welcome to a typical day at MutTrails Dog Daycare in Andover — where tails wag, paws play, and every day is an adventure!

🌞 Morning Energy & Tail Wags

The day begins bright and early around 7:15 AM, when our first furry guests trot through the gate, some bounding with excitement, others doing their classic slow-sniff arrival to check out the latest scents in the garden.

Once everyone’s had a quick wee and morning hello, it’s time for a bit of mingling. Some pups jump straight into play mode, while others prefer a cuddle or a quiet spot to settle in. Meanwhile, we’re busy refreshing beds, tidying up the garden, and making sure everything is cozy for the fun ahead.

🐕 Gearing Up for Adventure

By 9:00 AM, the gang’s all here! Leads and harnesses are ready, tails are wagging, and the excitement is contagious. At 9:15 AM, our brilliant team loads up the van and we’re off to explore one of our favourite countryside walk spots.

On the way, we meet up with the other MutTrails walkers, a cheerful convoy of dogs and humans heading out for a good dose of morning freedom. There’s barking, tail wagging, and a whole lot of joy!

🌳 Countryside Walks & Splash Time

For the next hour, the dogs enjoy sniffing trails, chasing leaves, and having a proper romp around the fields. When we return, muddy paws get washed and, depending on the weather, there might even be a refreshing dip in our paddling pool!

After the walk, it’s time to relax, beds are fluffed, sofa's covered in warm blankets, water bowls topped up, and some dogs enjoy a quiet nap while others just watch the world go by.

If anyone’s requires lunch, we serve personalised mealtimes in calm areas so everyone can eat at their own pace.

🎾 Afternoon Play & Social Time

Come 2:00 PM, it’s adventure time again! We head to a secure field where the dogs can run, chase, and play safely. It’s perfect for pups of all ages, whether they’re racing through the grass or simply enjoying the breeze and watching the action.

With five members of staff supervising, there’s always someone nearby for a cuddle, game of fetch, or gentle reassurance. Every dog gets the attention and care they deserve.

Afterward, we return home for one last tidy-up. Beds are brushed, bowls are rinsed, and the dogs settle into a well-earned snooze. The younger ones might sneak in a final burst of play before drifting off too.

💚 Home Time

By the end of the day, MutTrails is peaceful, full of happy, sleepy dogs and the soft sounds of snoring. Another day of laughter, wagging tails, and muddy paws comes to a close, ready to start again tomorrow.
